They decide that they must win the approval of the Prince before they can be considered for the crown. They also decide that it is not proper to tell the Queen that she will win the affection of the prince. They feel certain that there is no man who could resist the Queen. They plan to go to an apothecary and find out what tobacco was put in the pipe of their father's. They will then return to the gardens at midnight.
