He doesn't want to show them anything, though, because he feels like he has no confidence in his abilities. He wants to use his magic, but he can't seem to get it to work. He's not sure if he'll be able to do it in the future. The kid tells him to hurry up and use the magic, because it will be hard for him to pass through the hallway. He tells the kid that he thinks he heard him say that he loves him, and that's why he wants to meet him again. He asks the kid to pull out the item that was stolen from his friend's house, and he says that it's "rusty" so it looks like it belongs to someone else.
