In this chapter, we learn more about the creation of the monster, i.liana, and how it is being used to create a new race of humans. We also learn that the monster was created in a laboratory in order to create an "artificial life form" and a "humanoid" . We learn that this is the "true purpose" of establishing the gate, which is to make the world a "heaven" and to protect it from "monsters." The world was almost back to the "primitive era" after the monster's destruction, but it takes time to rebuild the human race, so the world needs to be managed as one.
