The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which Mina escaped from the dungeon. She was locked in a room with a hole in the wall, and she was given food, cold protection, a portable toilet, books, and video games to keep her occupied. The chapter ends with Mina telling the gang that she will be back in three days. The gang tells Mina that they can't let her go free so she can call her friends and get to Mizuho first, but Mina insists that they stay two meters away from each other. Mina says that she wishes she could be paired with someone else, and that she wants to walk home together. She also says that if she keeps this up, Eriko is going to stab her someday. Mina tells the gang not to treat them like common kidnappers, and they agree to have a speaker of their own fill the speaker's place.
