This is a locked chapterChapter 22: "I WANT TO CRY."
About This Chapter
The narrator tries to convince himself that he isn't responsible for anyone's death. For example, if he were in love with a woman like Sada, he could kill her out of love. The narrator also tells us that he doesn't know what made Alek kill his girlfriend. He wonders if she killed Alek because of her "emo tions" or because of the gas that made her dizzy. He also says that Alek, too, was a serial killer. He tells the narrator that he's going to drop by the police station to tell them what's happened. He says that the police want to confirm that the body found in the apartment ceiling was indeed Alek's, but that they'll have to wait until the next day to confirm it.
