Hiromi arrives at the hotel, where he finds that the group has taken care of his hotel fees. He tells the group that he has received a package from home that contains wood chips. The group wants him to make a religious propaganda for the station, but he doesn't want to do it because it would make him sound like a religious fanatic. He also tells them that he's tried to leave a message for one of the women, but she's not at home. Hiromi tells him that they took the cameras to the mountains the other day, and when they returned, there was a bear pacing around them. They had to walk to the station to get back, and Hiromi says that he wants to threaten to kill kureko if he calls the station. He asks if he can do that for him, and he says that the same thing happened to him the day before, when he realized that he couldn't do anything to get out of bed.
