In this chapter, we learn that Milady has been fired from her job as a waitress at a restaurant. Milady tells us that she has already gone to the place where Milady works to get a refill of some bread, and that she plans to visit the place again soon. She wonders if the customers at the restaurant remember Milady's voice, and wonders if it's okay if she makes an "avatar" of her face. She tells Milady to think of a new job before the summer festival, when there will be a beer festival in a nearby park. She suggests Milady find a place to work after the festival, since she doesn't want to lose her job at the festival because she works so hard at the food stall. She asks Milady if she knows why a store like the one she works at has a stall in the festival? Milady says that she didn't have a great education, but that she worked hard because she wanted to be a part of the festival. She says that if Milady were fired because she worked so hard, it would be neat if she were the one who sold her soup, and Milady wonders if that would be a neat thing to happen, since her soup is so good. She also says that people know about her because she made a dance track for a local radio station, and she's afraid that people are watching her on social media. She wants to test her voice, so she decides to head over to the restaurant to get some food for Milady.
