About This Chapter
The young man tells us that he's used to using his magic at school, but now that he has to rely on his legs to walk, it's getting tiring. He asks why he came to Karcia, and the girl tells him that she came from a family with like-minded people. The girl asks if he remembers his seat numbers, and he tells her that he and his friends were sitting so close to each other that he started to believe in his own fate. He also tells the girl that his family is planning to throw him a welcome party after he returns from the holidays, but he can't go because he'll have to wait until the end of school to see his family again. He tells her he'd like to go, but first he wants to go to the party, since it'll be his last one before he goes back to school. He's also interested in attending the party in a different role, like being a senior. He wants to be a part of it, too, since his mom bakes apple pies. He interrupts the girl to tell her that the rescue team needs to come and inspect him for injuries. She tells them that she's fine, but that raphael has been injured
