In this chapter, we learn that the school patrol group is constantly on the lookout for truants, and that the purpose of their patrol is to prevent students from hurting themselves. We also learn that one night, someone broke into the back of the mountain and left a trail of magic, which leads us to believe that the invisible person who left the trail is the teacher of 3017.
