This chapter opens in the cafeteria of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It's lunchtime, and the students are complaining about how hot it is. One of the students, named Snowcap, tells the other students that they're forbidden to use magic in class because it's too hot. The other students try to calm him down, but he's not having any of it. He's super-power-hungry, and he can't seem to stop trying to make himself feel better. He tries to get back to class, but the students won't let him go. He tells them that he'll buy ice cream for them after class, and they'll be able to have two of each other's backs. He also tells the students that he remembers one of their classmates from class G, and that he still remembers him. The students are all like, "Whoa, boss, do you remember me?" and he tells them to just wait for their credits to be like him.
