This chapter opens with a discussion between a student named "sally" and his teacher, "shelley" . "Sally" tells the teacher that he is afraid that his students will retaliate against him if he confronts them. He tells her that he has something to protect himself from the students and that he will rustle up the students so that the patrol team will recognize him.
