When the patrol team arrives at the hospital, they are told that the student has gone into the forest and is not safe. The group is told that he has thirty seconds to find a way back to the hospital. He tells them that he will go back to his parents' house, where he will meet them. He is horrified to learn that Carter Wood has lied about being able to take him through the forest to meet his parents.
