The narrator thanks the snowcap for his help. He tells him that the three girls in the class with him are from the same school as his roommate. The girls are named Carol, Shelley, and Miss Hill. The narrator tells the girls that he sprained his foot in the accident and that he will contact the teacher to get it checked out. He also tells them that he has run into trouble at work lately and that they have cast a spell on him. He asks the girls to stop the spell and hold him down, but they refuse to do so, saying that they cannot undo the spell they cast on him
