The cat reappears and tells the gang that he has found the notebook that was stolen from the schoolyard. He tells them that the painting was stolen by a majored student who wanted to use the notebook as a tool to create frightening stories in it. The cat says that he is just a passer-by and reminds the gang of the notebook's importance. He says that the notebook is a tool of the "judge of hell" and that it will take a long time for the girl to realize that she is inside a painting. He gives her the ring he gave her the last time he visited her and the notebook. He asks her if she knows him from the last life and she says that she does. He then asks her what she remembers from her previous life. She says that her speed of progress was so slow that she could not even tolerate it. He sends her some gifts for her to get her "whoosh previous life" and she loses the memory of her former life.
