The monster tells Roxane that she should wash the flesh of her dead husband and prepare a pot of soup for him. He says that the human race is not a place for dead people to mess around. Roxane says that she does not want her husband to come back to life, but that he is her friend since she was small. The monster says that he expects that Roxane will be able to save her husband.
