The next morning, Dr. Barlow and the other servants are busy cleaning up the place. They're not sure what's going on, but they're sure it's a good thing they've cleaned it up so well. They don't want anyone to find out that they haven't been cleaning it up. The servant asks if he's been asked to help with his sleep, and the servant replies that he hasn't. He's spent most of his life lying in a coffin, and he doesn't think much of his boss, who he says is "not a generous man" . He also says that his boss is "absolutely flawed" , and that he'd kill the servant with no thought if he had the chance.
