Real Girl

In this short scene, Tachibana expresses his gratitude to all the people who have sent him letters. He wishes that he could reply back to them, but he can't because he's in the middle of a game of hide-and-seek. He's excited to go to the seaside town of Enoshima, where he'll be able to shop at the local shurisu . He wants to buy some mochi, which is a type of dried seaweed that's used to make chewing gum. He also wants to talk to Tachiban about his feelings for her. He tells her that he wants to be close to her, and she tells him that she wishes that she could be like Ayado San, the girl who always gave her all the love she needed despite being lonely. She also says that she'd like to be like her mom, who's always cranky and grumpy. She says she'll try to be by her side, always.
