In this chapter, we learn that Hikari is going to have to move to a different city because of her father's health problems. She tells us that she almost lost her virginity in a half-year period, but she and her father have decided to have fun and have a good time. When she gets home, she tells her family that she's going to see her new boyfriend, who is going out with another girl. Hikari tells her that he's okay with that, because she doesn't hate drawing attention to herself. She also tells him that the girl she saw out walking with the other girl on Sunday is really in love with him. She asks him why he came to visit her, and he says that they're going to meet at school the next day. He also tells her he'll ask her father for blood pressure medicine, and she says that's all she needs to know. She then asks him if he knows the girl's boyfriend. He says that he does, and that he saw him walking with her yesterday at the hospital. He's her boyfriend, she says, too. He asks her if he can get her a room in a hotel.
