The narrator tells us that he's worried about the way Hiroshi looks at him. He wants to know why she's so into a guy like him. Hiroshi tells him that they've been seeing each other for about two months, but he doesn't know where they're going from here. He's afraid to talk to him on the phone, he says, because he wants to see what's going on between them. He tells Hiroshi that he wants a "damn boyfriend" , and Hiroshi says that's exactly what he wants. He also tells the narrator that he just got a new job, and he'd like to go to a movie with her. The narrator says that Hiroshi has invited her to the theater with him, and that he gave her a cap-sule toy as a present. He says that he saw that look on Hiroshi's face the first time he saw it, and it turns out it was all he meant to say. He asks Hiroshi why he would do that, and she says that she told him not to. She also says that they haven't been together since they were five, so they shouldn't break up at this point, even if they weren't her parents. She says that even if she were him, she wouldn't want her to date someone like him, because she'd never want her daughter to date a man like that. She then tells us about how she bought Hiroshi a ring, and how she wants to get him to put it on ASAP, because no one can stand the bond between the two of them. She adds that there's also shino, who used to be in love with her, and ayado, who liked her, too
