The narrator tells us that he's been getting a little emotional lately, and he thanks everyone for their support. He's not into the beauty contest, though, because he thinks that some girl out there has already voted for him. He doesn't know if he'll win, though. The narrator says that the next beauty contest is going to be for a girl from class 3-0, which is where he was when he first entered the contest. He says that he didn't think he'd be able to make it past the first round, but now he knows that he won't. He also says that, aside from a boy friend, he can't even think of a girl as trustworthy as a girl who's just entered the competition. He adds that girls are so quick to judge that they don't care if they're good looking or not.
