The chapter opens with a conversation between Roxane and the cat cafe. Roxane asks Roxane if she wants to become a lawyer, and Roxane replies that she has not yet decided on a profession. She tells Roxane that her parents do not want her to pursue a career in fishing, because deep sea fishing requires her to return to Japan. She says that she loves her father, and that she will never beat him, even if she tries her best to make him happy. When Roxane mentions that it is unfair that she should have spoken to her instead of reading the case book, Roxane says that it probably belongs to her father. She then tells the cafe that a friend of hers lives in the neighborhood, and the friend has blocked her from visiting her, so she has to call on Roxane herself. She also says that when she got the notice, she thought it must have been a prank, but when she looked at it, she realizes that the notice was actually a gift from Roxane to Roxane.
