Nemo replies that he's been working hard at his job, and that's why he keeps working. He tells Nemo that one day, he blew up at him, but that he thinks he might have been wrong. He says that he wants someone to arrange for him to marry, but he doesn't know who that person is. Nemo tells him that he can still struggle, though, because he can trust that his feelings are right, and he can act on them. Nemo asks about his summer vacation. He's going to school everyday to prepare for the festival. He asks if he can go to a kofun with him, and Nemo says he'd be happy to talk to him again if he didn't mind. He also asks if Nemo has noticed that the school has changed since he last saw him. Nemo says that it would be much easier if he could "free himself" of his "useless feelings."
