The next morning, Hirofumi and Takeda go for a walk, and Hirofumi asks Takeda if he showed him his partner, too. Takeda replies that he didn't, but that he hopes for someone younger. When Hirofumi questions Nisaka about her feelings for Takeda, Nisaka replies that she was interested in him after the ceremony, when she found out that he was in a class with her. She says that she's not interested in anyone younger than her, because she prefers older women. When she asks why he's smooching her, she says that he is important to her, and she doesn't care what people think of him when they meet him. She's finished eating her dinner, and now she wonders why she smells so bad. She points out that she has a girl in her room, and when she looks at it, she realizes that it's the same girl she kissed the day before. She wonders when she first realized she was in love with the girl, and then she wonders if she was supposed to think of it as a "scarecrow" story.
