In this chapter, Tommo explains how he and his father came to the conclusion that the baby was dead. He wonders when he will be able to "hold his head beats" . He tells Tommo that he will have to explain everything to everyone, and that he is the only person in the family who can "explain things to everyone." He asks if he can visit the hospital where he was born to learn how to use his "consciousness" to "enter and exit the stasis freely."
