Before the trip story, the narrator tells us that his phone is going off. He's worried about what's going on with hiro, who sent him a text message saying that he's fine. The narrator says that he can't really blame hiro for sending him a message like that, since it's just the way things are with him. He also says that hiro seems to be doing fine, though. He asks the narrator if he can talk to him about the text message, and the narrator says he'll be on his way. He tells the narrator that he was glad to see him, and that he hopes that hina will come back to the school. He says that they don't yet know if she would do well if they came back, but that he bought some snacks for her on his trip home. He doesn't think that she'll want to come back, though, because she's not sure where else to go. He thinks that if she did come back she'd have a lot of fun, but he also thinks that she might have a crush on him, too. He wants to know what they can do to make up for the absence of hina, since he feels like he belongs in the school, and he wants to make his big sister happy. He decides that they can schedule things in a way that's convenient for them, since they're not going to be able to go to school together. He even suggests that they have a snack time at the school cafeteria, which would be a nice break from the school day, since hiro and daiki have crushes on each other. He adds that if he gets up early, he can make lunch for the two of them at the cafeteria, too, and they can all go to the snack time together.
