About This Chapter
The next morning, Yonhap learns that the man who said he would be back in the morning did not show up. Yonhap tells his mother that he has come to pick up the man because he had a "weird feeling" that he was going to run away. He asks her why she is trying to leave, and she tells him that she has been waiting for him all night. He tells her that he would love to go home and take care of his son, but his exam is soon to come up, and he does not want to take her home. He says that Yonhap is a lot like his father in the sense that he cares about exams. He then tells Yonhap that he knows that the police are involved in the matter, and that it becomes more troublesome when they get involved. He adds that there are "unexpected situations" like this, but that it is not always the case. He explains that in general, "you help them fit in the human society" by managing their "assets or personal information" . He warns her that she should wash up first, but she insists that she is not sick. She says that she was weak because she did not have enough blood to heal her wounds. She tells him to "tear tear" and "clean it up" , but he refuses to do so, saying that he loves her and wants to be with her.
