In this chapter, the vampire explains that he has been keeping a close eye on his master. He has been quiet for the last two days, and he has not tried to harm him even though he is a vampire. Suddenly, he sees the ghost walking over to his house. He tries to convince the ghost not to go into the house, but the ghost is still in shock and does not respond. The vampire then tells the ghost that he is not human, and that he frowns too much.
