About This Chapter
In this short scene, the Governess tries to get her husband to stop talking to her, but he refuses to listen to her. He tells her that he has to go to the family's house to meet with the Head of the Family before he will change his mind about the transfusion. The Governess asks him if he is getting back at her for biting him last time, and he replies that he did not change his decision. He asks if they are burying him in the mountains, and she replies that it is nothing like that, as they are not burying him without anyone knowing. He says that he will not accept the transfusion because he does not want to "take advantage" of any human being. She asks if he grew up in this mansion, and when he says yes, she says that is because he is the human who was injured in the hit and run. She tells him that he is not the type for such a thing, and asks him why he cares so much about him. She says that she always has to struggle to convince him to stop being stubborn
