About This Chapter
"Swish, drop kwak-Tum-um, are you crazy?" asks the vampire. He's about to bite the man's neck, but he can't stop thinking about the smell of his own blood. He tells himself that he's just trying to get everything back to how it was before he met him. He says that since he met the vampire, Mr. Lunaison "has been acting weird" , and that if he were gone, everything would be the same. He also says that if the vampire hadn't been so slow, then Mr. Lockwood wouldn't have gotten so badly hurt. The vampire says that, if he'd been faster, he would have been able to stop the vampire before he got too far away, and the vampire would have gotten away without getting hurt. He goes on to say that, even if he had been a bit faster, the vampire might not have gotten as far away as he did, because the vampire's strength is so much greater now. He then says that the vampire is in the ward
