It's been a long time since he's drunk human blood, and now he can't control himself. He's not human, he says, and he needs the help of Emil to save Mr. Lorry. He asks Emil if he plans to tell Emil everything, and Emil says that he'll have to. Emil wakes up, and the two of them stare at each other. Emil asks if he fell asleep while he was watching over him, and then he wakes up. Emil is sick, and says he wants to go to sleep, because he doesn't want anyone to be alone with him. He wants to know what's wrong, and asks if Emil is okay. Emil says he was supposed to be fine, but could something be wrong? Emil coughs, and so Emil tries to kill him, but Emil says it won't work. He decides to ask Emil to find a new human, so Emil can get blood ready in case Emil gets worse. He tells Emil that Emil is still alive, and that he tried to save his life by killing Emil. He says he never asked Emil to do that, so stop thinking about coming to see him again until Emil does. He needs to bring Emil to the orphanage, so that Emil can do the blood transfusions. Emil agrees to do the transfusions, even if Emil does the rehab, so long as Emil is healthy and alive.
