Yeoh is worried about his son, who is supposed to be at the birthday party of his friend, the director. He decides to go to the party, but he can't go because of his high fever. He tells Yeoh that he has to go because he wants to celebrate his birthday, which he doesn't have. He goes to a nearby cake shop to buy a birthday cake for himself, but when he asks for it, it's too late.
