About This Chapter
Back at the hotel, the Governess is trying to figure out what's going on with her son. She's worried that he's getting too worked up to donate blood, but he insists that it's just like giving blood. The Governess tells her son that it would be better to donate the blood from a person who's actually alive, rather than from a stranger who might die. She tells him to go to the doctor first, and then she'll take care of him. When she sees that the doctor isn't there, she's all, "Hey, I'm going to go and check on him." She tells the boy to go ahead and get the doctor, because he'll be fine. When the doctor comes back, she tells him that he can tell him to come back if he doesn't like the plan. He's totally confused, and he'd rather not tell his father. He tells her that if he wants to, he can just tell the doctor to come and stay with them. He says that he never said he didn't want to do this, and that he would have done it sooner if he had known that it was going to work out. He also says that if the doctor wants to stay, he should tell him. He asks if he can bring the doctor's things, but the doctor says that
