About This Chapter
The next morning, Huck finds himself in the middle of a conversation with the Governess. He asks her why she is so anxious, and she tells him that he is driving her crazy. The Governess asks him if he feels better after drinking the blood, and he tells her that he does not yet feel like himself. He then asks her if she is feeling better because of the drugs she took earlier, and Huck says that it might be a side effect. Huck then asks if he is kissing too much, and the woman tells him it is not enough, and that he should just stop. She then tells Huck that she is calling because she knows him better than he does, and says that she does not want to admit that it is because of "lunaison" . She tells Huck to open his mouth and tap his lips, which she says was a dream, because the moon was full that night. Huck tells her he was surprised the night before, because he had to finish himself off in the bathroom in the heat. He says that he will see if there is anything to eat the next day, and asks her to sleep with him
