In the previous scene, Mr. Xu complains to his new boss about the way he has been treated. He tells him that he has done everything he could to become a taxi, and that life will not treat him harshly as long as he becomes a "scumbag like them." He tells his boss that he will send the cat to live with him at his new school, and he tells him to name the dog "dayu xu" and the cat "pan." The new boss is impressed with the young man's ability to think outside of the box. He invites him to celebrate the wedding of the two students. The two men enter the new school together, and the new boss notices that the old school uniform has been changed to a longyin mountain one. He asks the two men to stay for a while, and they agree to do so
