About This Chapter
In this short scene, the young prince expresses his desire to do his duty as prime minister of the country. He asks the minister to open the door so that he can see him. The minister tells him that the princess has gone missing and that the emperor has already sent her home. The prince asks if the princess is all right, and the minister replies that he is just worried about the princess. He tells the prince that he wants to stand up for the emperor, and he asks the prince if it is strange for them to hang out at the music bureau, since he is a young man and the prince is his friend. He then asks if he is interfering in his personal business, and when the prince replies that it is not, the prince says that he has crossed the line since the princess was fine, and that he will not excuse himself. He goes to the prince's mansion, where he sees the girl in the picture, and asks if she is the princess in that picture. He says that it looks like the prince regent will soon have a son and that they have a lot to handle at tomorrow's assembly. When the prince asks him why he is still awake, he says that loyalty is the promised promise of the emperor. He feels like he is the man before him, but when the emperor looks at him like this, he feels like the man is mine
