In this chapter, Lin-Shen Ling explains that he has changed the bandages on Ming-Guang's wounds in order to make him feel better. He says that he only did this out of concern, since Ming's eyes are still closed and he cannot see more of what he has seen. He hopes that Ming will become attracted to him, and then he will leave him to his own devices.
