The next morning, the Governess is shocked to see that the two men are in the same room. The Governess, who has been watching the scene from a distance, realizes that the men must have been caught in a trap. She orders the men to leave the room, but they refuse to do so, and she orders them to go back to her room. She tells the men that she has been framed, and that she is going to kill herself.
