This chapter opens with a description of a man who has been bitten by a snake. He is the son of the king of the north, and he has come to bring the king back to his palace. He asks the king why he is helping him, and the king tells him that if he had wanted him dead, then he would have killed him earlier. The king says that he will never harm the king again, since he did not kill him earlier in the prison. He says that if the king still wants to strangle him to death, he will kill him now.
