The next morning, the Governess finds that the murderer and his accomplice have returned to her house. The Governess plans to book a hotel for them so that they can visit her. She is surprised to find that the closet in her apartment is now open again, and that someone else is hiding there. She wonders why she feels this way, and wonders if she is being too paranoid. She says that when she left the apartment last month, the closet door was open, but this time the door is closed. She feels that someone must have been hiding there, and presses the shutter to reveal the intruder's face. She then realizes that her statue has been melted with hot water, and a cut has been made on her lip. She realizes that the girl in the picture is definitely going to sell her out.
