"Seduction ye limei" , the title of the chapter, opens with a soliloquy in which Mr. Antoni explains that he is a student and that he wants to see some art by a famous artist. He asks Mr. Ganymede to come with him to see the art. He tells Antoni that he has not finished his homework today and that the art will help him with his inspiration. He says that he can take her to the art gallery in no time and that they will be able to get her hooked on the artist soon. He explains that the only thing he can do now is to finish his education. He promises to go to the gallery and finish the statue he left in the morning. He wants Mr. Gadzi to give him the key to the classroom so that they can meet in the library together. He warns Antoni not to get too close to him because he and he are from different worlds and it is impossible for them to get close to each other.
