About This Chapter
Two years have passed, and Mr. Smith is still bitter at the fact that he has been unable to help his friend . He tells him that he is afraid that his piggy bank is running out of money and that he will not be able to help him in any way. He also tells him not to search for the club on tumblr because he is his buddy. He asks him to wrap the bandages on his arm and says that the club he wants to join is not for normal people. He says that he just showed them his preserved squirrel kidneys, and that it is a strange place for normal humans to be in. He adds that he does not believe that levi is willing to go into such a dangerous place. He then says that no one has ever heard of the club, or even with one arm, and he wonders why levi has to join it. He wonders if he is making his arm worse, and wonders if it is the most interesting part of his story. Finally, he says, he is not sure how to cook or clean, or smell, or how to clean or not smell, either still, but he does believe that he had to join the club. He is surprised that he did not find out that he was in a club, because normally, he thinks, no one would want to be a part of such a thing. He thinks that the home-making club has not been active for a long time, because it would be a pain to join.
