About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a flashback to the first day of gelgar's cooking club, when he and his friends were invited to a party at the house of a friend of theirs. When they arrived at the party, they were disappointed to find that the food was not as good as they had expected it to be. They were also disappointed that they had not been able to participate in the party because they were not able to eat the food they had prepared for them. After the meal, gelgar and the other members of the club began to explain to each other what had happened to them since the day they left the party. They had been unable to participate because of their intolerance for food, and they had been forced to eat only the food that was prepared by their friends
