In this short scene, the two young men meet in front of a vending machine in the main library. The young man asks the older man about his feelings for the older woman. The older man tells him that he does not want to be his brother and that he would like to be married to the younger woman. He tells the young man that he will like him even more now that he knows that he is not his brother. The younger man asks why he did not write as much as he should have. He says that his laptop suddenly died and he cannot write as well as he used to. The two men agree that they will not be able to do this anymore. The elder man asks if he is free this weekend and the younger man says that he works during the weekends and that they should meet on Friday night after lectures. He asks if she is mad at them because she got her period, and she says that she was just getting angry because she was afraid of the young men. He then asks if it is okay to ask him about his muffler, and he says that it is fine. He turns to the other man and asks him to give him a sip of his coffee. He gulps and asks what is going on.
