When the scene opens, we are introduced to a young man named Taesung, who has just graduated from high school. He is studying in the library at home with his friends, but he is starving and does not want to go to the school cafeteria. He tells us that he has chosen to live with his mother because if he stayed with her, he would be able to keep seeing her. He asks his friends why they have cut him off from the rest of the school, and they tell him that it is because he is the one who is causing the problem. When he asks why he is being snapped at, they say that he is making the problem himself.
