He thinks that he should report the captain to the police, but he doesn't know if the police will believe him even if he reports the captain. He wants to keep working at the office. He feels like the captain is no longer the person he used to know. He wonders if it's okay to apologize to the captain first, since the captain won't be able to tell the others about it. He also wonders why the captain didn't change his hair, since he was out running an errand. He's relieved to see the captain laugh, and he wants to take this with him.
