It's been a while since we've heard anything from the department manager, but now he's back in the office. He's clearly aware of what's going on, but he doesn't tell the team manager. Instead, he pretends to be seeing someone else and pretends not to have heard anything. The team manager is all, "wait a second, I'm not seeing anyone, but I do know that you're seeing someone" . The only thing he can do for him is to pretend that he didn't actually hear anything, and then he'll pretend to be surprised when he hears someone asking him why they're not seeing someone. He wants to know what the heck is going on. Then he wants to pretend to know that the guy's asking him because he and his co-workers are wearing the exact same ring, and that's all that matters to him right now. He asks the guy if he knows the answer to the question, and the guy says, "I don't know, I can't give you a suck about who I am so know my place" , which is like, "you're just asking me because you guys wear the same ring?" . So, the only way he can figure out who the guy is is is to ask him if he already knew the answer, and if he'd already heard the answer. The guy is all "I'm just asking you because you and your co-worker are wearing same ring"
