The next morning, the demon boss tells spin that he's not going to stop whining. He's going to do his best to get her to change her ways. He tells her that she should be happy that no one is bothered by her whining, because that's the power imbalance in the family. He says that he was jealous of her because she could just be her own person. He apologizes for giving her so much grief, and says that if she'd forgotten about it, he'd be embarrassed to say it. He promises to take care of her. He asks her what she plans to do for the day, and she says that she'll go to a nearby shrine to find out. She tells him that her mom and some of her friends are going to have a booth at the shrine, and that she can't be there with them because her daughter has a fever. The booth will be empty, she says, but she hopes that her daughter will recover soon. The demon boss says that even if he forgives her, she still picked a fight with him and gave them trouble. He reminds her of the apron she made for home, and he wishes that she had told him about it.
