Back at school, Hiroyuki and Hibiki decide to go for a walk after class. Hiroyuki asks if they can talk to him alone, but he refuses, saying that he wants to be alone with his friends. He tells them that they are going to be hanging out after school, and Hiroyuki says that he will do his best to be his friend. He says that they became friends about a year later, and that he gave up after a year because he was worried about how long he would be able to keep up with her. She tells him that she still loves him, but that he was too stubborn to let her be friends with him.
