The scene opens with the demon asking his master if he will go out with him. The answer is "yes" . The narrator explains that he has a reason for wanting to go out, but he can't tell us what it is. He says that he had garlic in a dish for lunch, and the smell of garlic will ruin their first kiss. He tells the narrator that he's glad that he saw a side of him that he didn't see before. He's happy that the train is on its way back to his house, and that he was able to see a part of himself that he wasn't able to. He wants to make sure that he sees more of his bad side, so he'll let go of her. He doesn't want anyone to stop him from going out with her, and he wants her to make him happy, so she can be a cool girl. He asks the narrator if he can ask her a favor, and she says yes.
