This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, where the narrator explains that he is now in charge of the business at Hibiki. He tells the reader that he will be meeting with kyosuke the next morning. He also tells the audience that he has an idea that he wants to present at the meeting. He asks for the help of Hasegawa, who has been teaching him how to make sweets. When he asks for it, he is told that it is a small shop, so he does not usually do this, but when he heard that it was a magazine he thought it would be nice if they could work together.
